Mandy asks…What do the results of my MRI mean?So last year I did an MRI and CT scan to see how my jaws are because I have TMJ. In the MRI it says that I can a broad-based mucus cyst versus polyp within the inferior aspect of the right maxillary sinus and a mild mucosal thickening within the left maxillary sinus. So my question is what does the exactly mean? Do I have to go though a procedure to get ride of the mucus?
